Well, yesterday was Rachel's birthday! We tried to make her feel really special all day and I think we succeeded. We got all of our friends to write her notes and tell her how much they love her and we put them all over our kitchen wall under a happy birthday banner...We were tempted to put up a sign that said "It is Your Birthday." (You'll get that if you're an office fan!) And Jess (one of my roomies) suggested we should blow up baloons, but since we didn't have any we could just blow up a trash bag and spray paint it...we opted out on that one. Rachel said she was so surprised when she opened her door and saw all the notes...she said she felt like all of her friends were there staring her in the face. Anna sent her a letter from Denmark so that was on the wall too, along with our top ten reasons of why we love our Rachel- including we love that we have a roommate that looks and sounds like Ariel, we love that she sometimes answers the phone "In Jesus name" on accident (long story), and that she likes to pretend that she is traveling through Scotland when she's really just driving to Houston. Then we made her a cake and Lindsey cooked dinner. All in all a fun day, despite her having to write a psychology paper.

I love Rachel and am so blessed to live with her. She makes me laugh, encourages and prays for me and I love being able to call her my friend! And she looks like a Disney Princess...what more could you ask for? Love you Ray-Ray!
Here's a couple pictures...
